I bought this item directly from WOWparts since they offer a money back guarantee. Kinect is tricky for me because I'm tall (6.2) and live in a small space (max 10ft from kinect to wall). The product definitely improves the wideness of the camera. Where before it could only see one person, my kinect could register two with the super zoom. I could also stand *much* closer and still be registered. From before when 8feet was the closest without being too close, to 2 feet is the closest.
I ultimately returned the item because I found I had to stand too close to my big screen TV, between 2 and 5 feet. I made me a little dizzy. To give you and idea of the change, before the super lens, I had to stand between 8 and 10 feet (bumping my back wall). It also had difficulty registering my hands due to my height at times.
