Have been using this with windows 8 now for 5 months. Product works great with kinect xbox camera. Testing with the SDK etc.
No heat up issues and my xbox kinect camera now gets more use on windows 8. I just hope Microsoft will utilize this technology with a windows 8 desktop update. The kinect for Xbox is far cheaper then the one MS sales so this adapter makes getting the more affordable kinect a must buy, especially for windows 8. I am sure after reading some of the reviews that it works on windows 7 but haven't tested it as I have soley been on windows 8 for over 6 months.
